Orange County Head Start, Inc. (OCHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization receiving federal funds to operate the Head Start program throughout the county of Orange. Head Start is a national program that provides educational, social, medical, dental, nutrition, and mental health services, as well as parent involvement activities, for low-income families and their children from birth to entry into kindergarten.
We are currently accepting offers for the 2007-2008 Fiscal Year for the following commodities: Classroom Supplies, Copier Lease & Maintenance, Food Service Disposable Supplies, Food Service Produce, Janitorial Supplies, Janitorial Cleaning Service, Office Supplies and Document Print Service. All Invitations for Bid (IFB) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) will be released to the public via mail on Friday, March 23, 2007. To receive a hard copy of the bid or proposal packet by mail, please contact Mai Hoang @ (714) 241.8920 x209 or e-mail maihoang@ochsinc.org. Past participants will automatically receive bid and proposal information thru the mail unless a request to opt-out was received. You may also download an IFB or RFP from our website at www.ochsinc.org / Invitation for Bids and Proposals.
A pre-proposal conference will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2007. Proposals are due Friday, April 20, 2007. Please refer to OCHS website for event times. All events will take place at OCHS Administration Office located at 2900 S. Harbor Blvd. Suites 101 & 102 Santa Ana, CA 92704. All interested vendors are urged to attend.
